Randy Mauger - Biography Randy Mauger has been involved in music and entertainment in some way shape or form for over thirty-five years. Equipped with guitar, harmonicas, vocals, and downright friendly banter, he has entertained tiny and huge audiences. From restaurants to ski resorts, folk festivals to colleges in many states, Randy has entertained youngsters and oldsters alike. He has performed numerous children's shows in schools, libraries, and for New York's Office of General Services. In 1988 he released a cassette album ON THE HORIZON, a collection of his original instrumental and vocal pieces. April 2001 brought the release of Randy's first children's CD "Keepers Of A Fine World", a compilation of Earth and Earth Day songs for home and school. That CD is now available at cdbaby.com. Besides performing for adults of all ages Randy began performing for children back when his teenage daughters started school. He has also custom written and presented songs and classes through two arts institutes, and as an independent artist. His typical children's show blends good old-time traditional sing-a-longs with off-the-beaten-path silliness, and of course, original material. Most importantly, Randy invites the children to become part of the show. Involving everyone in singing, clapping, and discussions just seem to come naturally. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
